Easy to Make White Wine Sangria Recipe

– Easy to Make White Wine Sangria Recipe –

Nothing says summer like a refreshing pitcher of white wine sangria, perfect to enjoy al fresco with family and friends. This Easy to Make White Wine Sangria Recipe is loaded with fruity flavors and the sangria is literally done within minutes. I used a combination of simple fruits to create an extraordinary balance and flavor in this white wine sangria. I also used apple liquor, it´s low in alcohol and truly gives this white wine sangria and incredible flavor. Traditionally, Red Wine Sangria is the big hit in Spain during the summer time, specially in the region of Andalucia, but this white wine sangria is equally up there with it´s red brother. White wine sangria has less alcohol than the red one and offers more of a tropical flavor to it. Truly the most refreshing cocktail during a hot summers day and ever so perfect for a tapas party or to enjoy with a bbq.

– Selecting the Perfect White Wine for Sangria –

Here´s the deal on choosing the right wine to make your white wine sangria. You don´t want to buy a cheap white wine, as it will most likely give you a headache, but you don´t want to buy an expensive bottle either, the flavor will be diluted from the fruit. I bought a white Rioja made by ¨El Coto¨, cost me about 6€ ($9-$10). The grape varietal from the wine was Macabeo, also known as Viura. I recommend you get a decent wine but nothing too fancy, this gives the white wine sangria a better quality and flavor.
